How long does it take to manufacture a double glazed unit?
For standard double glazed units we have a turnaround of 2-3 working days. Toughened units take a little bit longer and are turned around in 5-7 working days. Lead times for bespoke decorative designs can vary from 1-3 weeks.
Can you match an existing glass design?
Yes! Whatever your design requirements we can meet them.
Can I have an emergency unit made today?
Yes we are able to manufacture emergency or temporary units.
What is toughened glass and why do I need it?
Toughened glass is a single pane of glass that has been through a process of heating and rapid cooling in order to toughen the glass. Toughened glass is considered to be safer than standard float glass as when it breaks it breaks into tiny pieces rather than large shards of glass which significantly reduces the risk of injury. You are required to have toughened glass installed into any windows that are below 800mm from ground level. Any glass installed in a door or within a 300mm range of a door should also be toughened.
